One of the art-related organizations supported by our Foundation, STUDIO FLAT, will participate in the "Colors Kawasaki 2021 Exhibition" at MUZA Kawasaki Symphony Hall starting on November 12.

Colors Kawasaki 2021 Exhibition:
The Fire of Art Connecting Us to the Future

With the Kawasaki Para-Art Movement policy in mind, the Kawasaki Cultural Foundation is developing the "Para-Art Promotion Project" to create an environment where people with and without disabilities can engage in cultural and artistic activities together. As one integral part of this project, we will hold an exhibition that aims to allow visitors to directly experience and enjoy each artwork as it is, without being bound by whether or not the artist has a disability. We are also dispatching instructors to facilities of their choice in advance of the exhibition to offer advice and provide guidance on painting. Some of the necessary materials for the exhibition are donated by various companies and organizations that support this initiative.

The works on display will be those of approximately 100 artists (the largest number ever) as well as those created by children from the city's special needs schools. The theme of this year's festival is "The Fire of Art Connecting Us to the Future”. Just as the Paralympic torch is born from fires collected from all over Japan, we hope that the enthusiasm of those involved in and supporting Para-art will come together with colorful artworks to connect Kawasaki — a city of diversity — to the future.
